A lost 80's Horror Classic, The Midnight Hour

A lost Classic, The Midnight Hour

The Midnight Hour.  This horror comedy romantic musical
goes for it all and hits every target.  It was made for Tv and is hard to find.
The soundtrack is classic songs from the 50's and 60's along with a
few songs for the movie.
If you either grew up in the 80's or love 80's films then you have
got to see this movie.  It is amazing.  It should have been that generation’s
Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The cast includes Lee Montgomery, Shari Belafonte, LeVar Burton,
Peter DeLuise, Dedee Pfeiffer and Jonna Lee.
The plot is simple enough, the teens opened a crypt and release a
curse that brings back to life not only the dead, but ghost, vampires and
werewolves.  The witch who cast the curse is the villain and one of the
teens Phil, played by Lee Montgomery along with a beautiful cheerleader (I guess
cheerleaders have been saving the world long before Buffy) Sandy played by
Jonna Lee are the only ones that can save the day, but there is a big problem.
Sandy may or may not be one of the dead and if Phil ends the curse he
may lose the girl he is falling in love with.  I can not tell you how
it turns out, but they have a song, Devil or Angel, and I promise that you will
never hear this song again and not think of Phil and Sandy.  It is one of the
best made for television teen movie of the 80's.  I believe that each of us who
love movies have one or two of these lost films that we like to bring up and
hardly anyone has ever seen.
Good luck finding this little treasure.  It is available at Amazon and I think
I have seen listing for it on Amazon and Ioffer.
